چکیده

This article addresses the benefits of using IP network modeling platforms to study networks. For purposes this study, several models networks were created, through which various hypotheses studied. Additionally, different operational variants modeled created. The use GNS3 platform was proposed, as well tools for monitoring processes in application power electronic devices also addressed. greatly facilitate both process studying and training professionals design, install, maintain types network. Thanks platform, it possible implement with functionalities. It very easy determine answers posed hypotheses/questions capabilities platforms. questions by addressed paper answered thanks results obtained from research carried out GNS3. present confirmed that these platforms, particular is an excellent substitute expensive equipment, created performed almost like made real devices.

scour modeling piles of kambuzia industrial city bridge using hec-ras and artificial neural network

today, scouring is one of the important topics in the river and coastal engineering so that the most destruction in the bridges is occurred due to this phenomenon. whereas the bridges are assumed as the most important connecting structures in the communications roads in the country and their importance is doubled while floodwater, thus exact design and maintenance thereof is very crucial. f...

Characterization and modeling of campus-level IP network traffic

` The behavior of IP based network traffic has been the subject of several works. In this paper we compare two modeling approaches and their ability to capture two basic traffic features: packet size distribution and interarrival times. Data traces have been measured at the border gateway of the campus network of the University of Pavia at different times of the day. The two modeling schemes us...

Traffic modeling and characterization for UMTS networks

In this paper, we present a synthetic traffic model for the Universal Mobile Telecommunication Systems (UMTS) based on measured trace data. The analysis and scaling process of the measured trace data with respect to different bandwidth classes constitutes the basic concept of the UMTS traffic characterization. Furthermore, we introduce an aggregated traffic model for UMTS networks that is analy...

assessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea

data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...

Modeling IP traffic: joint characterization of packet arrivals and packet sizes using BMAPs

This paper proposes a traffic model and a parameter fitting procedure that are capable of achieving accurate prediction of the queuing behavior for IP traffic exhibiting long-range dependence. The modeling process is a discrete-time batch Markovian arrival process (dBMAP) that jointly characterizes the packet arrival process and the packet size distribution. In the proposed dBMAP, packet arriva...
